If you’re searching for a way to give back, the Catalyst’s Impact Connector is here to help. Each week, we feature five organizations in the Tampa Bay area that need your input, whether that’s time, talent, items, funding or simply awareness. We’re certain you’ll find something here that matches your interests and will positively impact the community.

Keep Pinellas Beautiful Spring Pedal Pub fundraiser

Keep Pinellas Beautiful (KPB) is a nonprofit dedicated to cleanup and beautification initiatives across Pinellas County.

Join KPB Sunday, March 9 for an afternoon in downtown St. Petersburg with PedalPub. Attendees can explore the city’s sights on a two-hour tour for light exercise, fresh air and refreshments. Tickets include the Pedal Pub Experience and drinks on the tour, and all proceeds support KPB.

Boys and Girls Clubs’ New York Yankees Luncheon

Join the New York Yankees Luncheon, benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, March 14 for an afternoon filled with baseball stories and an opportunity to make an impact on local youth.

This event will feature the entire New York Yankees team, an autograph session, guest speakers and lunch, with all funds to support area kids and teens served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay. Sponsorships and tickets are available online here.

Support long-term hurricane recovery with the Tampa Bay Resiliency Fund

Hurricanes Milton and Helene hit Tampa Bay hard, flooding neighborhoods, damaging homes and closing roads. In the aftermath of these storms, the Tampa Bay Resiliency Fund (TBRF) is active and collecting donations. So far, the Fund has garnered over $430,000 in donations, which will be directed toward recovery efforts like housing, food, medical care and emotional support for those impacted.

TBRF is actively providing grants and focusing on long-term planning to strengthen community resilience. This initiative – a collaboration between Allegany Franciscan Ministries, Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg, Pinellas Community Foundation and United Way Suncoast – was created to strengthen Tampa Bay’s resilience for the future. The Pinellas Community Foundation is still accepting online donations at this link to aid in long-term Hurricane recovery.

Love don’t cost a thing

Well, it’s actually just a few cents per month. This Valentine’s month and beyond, show some love to your neighbors in need by making easy, automatic donations through your utility bill. With the City of St. Petersburg’s Utility Bill Round-Up, the city will round up your bill to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to help St. Pete families in need. You can also sign up to make one-time or recurring donations for any amount.

Sign up to donate at stpete.org/UtilityAssistance.
