Historic St. Pete Godsey House lists

A historic 1925 estate in St. Pete’s Granada Terrace neighborhood is on the market for $3.5 million.
The Spanish Mediterranean Revival home at 2240 Coffee Pot Blvd. NE, originally known as the Godsey House, was designed by renowned architect Edgar Ferdon.

Ferdon’s work can be found throughout the Sunshine City at the Crislip Arcade, the First Congregational Church and other local landmarks.
Many original features of the four-bedroom home are still intact, including the solarium featuring hand-stenciled pecky cypress ceiling and intricate tile work, arches, original wood floors, gas fireplace and baths, according to the listing.
Businessman CJ Godsey, a notable plumbing contractor, and his wife, a professional singer, owned the home. The estate served as a hub for social gatherings and philanthropic endeavors.
