What do you do?
I personally design essential oil blends to be effective, relaxing, and healthy as possible – using a perfect blend of organic, 100 percent pure ingredients.
With blends for immune health, anxiety relief, mood, energy balance, sleep support and more, I created everything at Petal & Leaf to enhance health and well-being, while being super-convenient and easy to use.
Why do you do it?
I fell in love with essential oils at a young age and loved how they made me feel. I was fascinated that one plant could calm my anxiety while another one could give me energy and focus. I wanted to be able to show others the amazing power of plants one blend at a time. I feel grateful to have helped others live a natural life using essential oils.
What was your Catalyst? (How did you get started?)
My biggest driver was feedback from others. My friends and family would ask me questions about essential oils, and I quickly learned that most people knew what essential oils are, but they had no idea how to use them! My goal was then to create a line of ‘one and done’ essential oil roll-on blends that satisfy people’s needs, while being convenient and easy to use.
What’s a common misconception or unknown aspect of what you do?
Blending essential oils is harder than one may think! It takes patience, education and time to craft the right oils and concentrations to make a perfect blend.
What’s the most challenging part of your Hustle?
Being seen. With the many big essential oil companies out there it can be a challenge to be recognized. My goal is to gain people’s trust by using pure, organic ingredients and a well-informed, educational website.
What’s the most valuable piece of business advice/insight that’s helped you?
Keep going! If this truly is your passion and you wake up with a burning desire for what you are doing, then don’t stop! Passion and dedication are great values that make up a strong business!
