The St. Petersburg Foundation builds capacity at the organizational and community level for social impact. We are an engine for social good, leveraging business acumen and donations to fund a new type of philanthropic endeavor, a platform for entrepreneurial thinking and expert execution in the nonprofit space. We help people who have dedicated their lives to social impact develop systems, tools and processes that advance their missions and increase their effectiveness.

Through this lens, the St. Petersburg Foundation invests in and accelerates innovative, scalable, and sustainable organizations and ideas, creating cycles of success by providing resources and support systems that help nonprofits conquer our community’s biggest challenges. We fortify our region’s leading change-makers with capacity-building grants and seed capital, shared services and expert guidance, and research-driven leadership education.
In order to tackle head-on the gap that exists between identified community needs and concrete community solutions, we activate our expert network around alliance-building, awareness-enhancement, and organizational transformation. We serve as our region’s expert voice in leadership philanthropy.
