Innovation studio to accelerate AI adoption
TD SYNNEX, a global distributor and technology solutions aggregator, has established a North American Innovation Studio in collaboration with IBM. The facility, situated at TD SYNNEX’s headquarters in Clearwater, is a key piece of the company’s Destination AI initiative, which aims to support partners in adopting and monetizing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
The Innovation Studio offers a hands-on environment where TD SYNNEX partners can engage with advanced technologies, including AI, data analytics, automation and hybrid cloud solutions. Various interactive enablement activities, including IBM watsonx workshops and training sessions, solution demonstrations and sales pitches, webinars, events and co-creation sessions enhance partners’ skills and knowledge in AI and support the development of innovative proofs of concept. It also provides a space for partners to explore and demonstrate IBM solutions, such as the watsonx platform, facilitating access to new technologies with comprehensive pre- and post-sale support.
Mark Martin, Vice President of Global Data & AI at TD SYNNEX, said in a prepared statement that the studio “is designed to help partners navigate the complexities of the current technology landscape by fostering a collaborative environment. The studio aims to enhance partners’ technical expertise and optimize their go-to-market strategies in high-growth areas.”
David La Rose, General Manager of IBM Ecosystem, emphasized the role of partners in accelerating clients’ AI-driven objectives. He noted that the collaboration with TD SYNNEX enables partners to develop in-depth expertise and receive hands-on training with IBM’s data and AI portfolios, including the watsonx platform.
The studio builds upon TD SYNNEX’s IBM watsonx Gold 100 program, which was launched in May 2024 to assist partners in achieving IBM’s Gold-tier partner status through specialized technical, sales, and marketing enablement for watsonx solutions. Since its inception, more than 50 partners have enrolled in the program, utilizing the new space for additional enablement, sales and training opportunities.
