Marketer of the Year awards celebrate creativity and innovation
AdventHealth and creative agency 22squared were the big winners at Thursday ‘s fifth annual Marketer of the Year Awards.
The event, held virtually this year due to Covid-19, was hosted by the American Marketing Association’s Tampa Bay Chapter and awards were handed out in a number of categories, including digital marketing, nonprofit marketing and student marketing. The judging was done by the AMA’s Birmingham, Alabama chapter to ensure the process remained impartial.
AdventHealth and 22squared won three awards, including digital marketing, mass media broadcast and the top prize of Grand Marketer of the Year, for their Feel Whole Challenge campaign. The campaign encourages making positive lifestyle changes over a 21-day period to promote better physical and emotional health.
Awards also were given out for educator of the year, which went to Dr. Paul J. Solomon at USF Muma College of Business and volunteer of the year, which went to Jodi Ciccarello. Tampa General Hospital was named to the AMA Hall of Fame for consistently demonstrating marketing excellence in the community.
