Meet Shepherd’s Village.
Shepherd’s Village is committed to helping women in crisis for the long haul. This two to three year transitional housing program gives motivated single moms not just a roof over their head, but the skills and tools to live self-sustaining lives once they graduate.
Shepherd’s Village is a 12-unit complex, where single mothers and their children live while the mother works towards financial freedom, career goals, conflict resolution and much more. But they are equipped to help more than just those living under their roof. The organization also holds events every month and operates a social enterprise, Shabby to Chic, a thrifty boutique that sells donated items to raise scholarship funds.
