Great Explorations Children’s Museum has earned its place among established museums across the United States serving kids in a hands-on learning environment.
As a certified nonprofit, the museum works with and for the community to help kids learn through the ways they learn best – imagination and play. It provides a hands-on learning environment for curious kids. Regular museum admission is one option, though there are others as well – Great Explorations was the first museum in the US to establish a preschool program. Its exhibits include “Great Beginnings,” a farm-themed experience about various vegetables, “Live On Air,” where kids can see themselves as newscasters on TV, “Touch Tunnel,” for those who want to test their senses, and several others. The museum provides numerous resources to educate kids in fun, engaging ways.
