Core values/mission statement
Our Mission. Mindful Movement takes a 360-degree approach to empowering individuals to become their most well-balanced, educated, and healthy selves. Guided by a holistic philosophy, our mission is to serve adults and youth from underserved communities, bridging gaps in access to transformative health and wellness resources. Through programs that teach yoga postures, meditation, breathing techniques, and positive affirmations, we aim to help participants discover their physical and mental strength, fostering long-term self-improvement and resilience. Health is wealth, and through Mindful Movement, we provide the tools for individuals to thrive with body, mind, and spirit. Our sessions also include structured curricula and thought-provoking reading materials that spark dialogue and inspire personal growth. Our Vision. To create a mindful future by establishing Mindful Movement programs in all Pinellas County schools within six years. We envision a community where every child has access to tools for mental well-being, emotional growth, and resilience. By empowering students with mindfulness and enrichment programs, we aim to foster a culture of self-awareness, empathy, and social connection that extends beyond the classroom, impacting families and communities for generations to come. We seek to build stronger, healthier, and more connected communities across Pinellas County through widespread access to these transformative practices.

Senior Instructor and Founder
After 36 years in broadcast management with ABC, NBC, and CNN, Clayton Sizemore has reimagined his career around wellness and longevity as a certified yoga instructor and travel agent. A seasoned communicator and organizational leader, he is known for strong decision-making, problem-solving, and team-building throughout his award-winning television career. Raised in Mount Vernon, NY during a time of social change, Clayton drew early inspiration from cultural and political leaders such as Nina Simone, Betty Shabazz, Adam Clayton Powell, and James Baldwin—shaping a lifelong standard of excellence. Now based in St. Petersburg, Florida, he is founder and senior instructor at Mindful Movement Florida, an ambassador with the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce, and chairman of the SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Foundation Scholarship Program, established in honor of his late wife, journalist Andria Hall. A father of three, Clayton believes that with faith and perseverance, all things are possible. He is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with both 200-hour and advanced 500-hour certifications, and an active member of the Yoga Alliance.
