Property housing Keiser University sells 

The nearly 200,000-square-foot Centerpointe Office campus in Clearwater has sold in a $14.1 million deal. 

An entity connected to John Gerlach, executive managing director of investment services at Colliers International Florida, purchased the two-story office building at 16120 N. U.S. Highway 19. It is fully leased by global management outsourcing firm 24-7 Intouch and private career college Keiser University, which have occupied the building since 2014.

Keiser University’s Clearwater location is one of the 20-plus campuses it has throughout the state and serves thousands of students. 

According to a listing advertising the property, tenant 24-7 Intouch can employ up to 1,100 crew members from the location.

The property purchase also includes the wraparound parking lots. 

 

Brightwaters estate sells for $9 million 

The Snell Isle home at 1943 Brightwaters Blvd. has sold in a $9 million deal. 

The buyer, listed as a trustee of Kevin Hart, purchased the 7,688-square-foot home, according to Pinellas County records.

The five-bedroom home was built in 2021 on a 0.41-acre lot. 

The listing of the two-story waterfront home provides very little information regarding the features of the estate, which was previously listed for $10 million. 

The property last sold in 2020 for $2.535 million. 

Suzanne Muchow, CEO of The Suzanne Muchow Team at eXp Realty, is the listing agent. 

 

St. Pete Beach rental property has a new owner 

The Villas at St. Pete Beach hotel has sold in a $5.7 million deal. 

St. Pete Beach Investments LLC sold the property at 6901 Sunset Blvd. to SJ Beach Properties LLC.

The 10-unit hotel has renovated one-bedroom units and studios. The Villas also offers a contemporary two-bedroom, two-story beach house that can be combined with a one-bedroom bungalow unit. 

All of the retro-styled hotel rooms feature kitchens. 

The Villas complex amenities include a pool surrounded by cabanas and hammocks. 

 

Serial investor buys manufacturing building 

A Clearwater-based entity, tied to individual Shehu Sokol, has purchased a 36,590-square-foot light manufacturing building in Oldsmar in a $2.5 million deal. 

The warehouse at 206 Tower Dr., Oldsmar. 

The building at 206 Tower Dr., built in 1998, is owned by Steven Higger, the president of United Visual Branding, a custom sign company. 

The buyer took out a $2.4 million loan from Flagship Bank for the purchase. 

Sokol has also recently purchased the 40-unit Colonial Bluffs Apartments complex at 2942 W. Bay Drive. 

 

Clearwater industrial building sells 

A roughly 20,000-square-foot industrial building at 700 Magnolia Dr. has sold in a $2.3 million deal. 

Mag Drive LLC sold the building to Bluesky Manufacturing Clearwater LLC, which is an entity connected to Christian Oliver, the CEO of BlueSky Innovations and related company BlueSky Mast Inc. 

BlueSky Mast manufactures products used for global military communications and commercial operations. BlueSky’s partners include aerospace and defense industry giants such as Lockheed Martin, L3Harris, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon, according to the company’s website. 

The company is currently based at 2080 Wild Acres Road in Largo.
