Places This Week: A Snell Isle waterfront home

A 4-bedroom, 4.5 bath one-story home located at 127 Bay Point Drive NE, in the Snell Isle neighborhood of St. Petersburg, has hit the market with an asking price of $7.95 million. The 3,967 square-foot property was built in 1955 and sits on a 0.36-acre plot of land.

Inside the one-story home is an open floor plan that integrates the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The chef’s kitchen features REHAU maple cabinets, polished Evora marble and Miele appliances, including a steam and convection oven and an undercounter wine fridge. The primary bedroom and sitting area offer expansive views of Tampa Bay. The master bath is outfitted with a large walk-in closet with bleached walnut custom cabinetry and a walnut vanity with a marble countertop.

Outdoor areas include a three-car garage, a heated salt-water pool and a new dock with a 7,000-pound lift. Additional highlights include organic materials and finishes, stone floors, copper gutters, hurricane impact-rated windows and a new concrete tile roof.

 Treasure Island’s Oasis Palms Resort lists

The Oasis Palms Resort, at 11799 Gulf Blvd. in Treasure Island, has listed for sale with an asking price of $12 million. The turn-key property is located across the street the beach and within walking distance to John’s Pass Village and the boardwalk.

The resort offers 34 units, including regular and deluxe studio efficiencies with one queen bed, mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker; one-bedroom regular and deluxe units with a living room, one queen bed and a kitchen with full-sized appliances and place settings for four; and two-bedroom units with one queen bed and one double bed, a living room and a full-sized kitchen with place settings for eight.

The four-building complex, situated on 0.57-acres of land, encompasses 12,841 square feet of living space. Building 1 is a two-story structure built in 1951 with 3,190 square feet of living space equally split between the lower and upper floors. Building 2 is also a two-story structure, built in 1956 with 6,592 square feet of heated space. Building 3 is a one-story structure built in 1951 with 960 square feet of living space and a 240 square-foot open porch. Building 4 is a one-story structure built in 1951 with 2,099 heated square feet, a 224 square-foot open porch and a 40 square-foot utility space. The property provides parking for 46 vehicles.

The seller is ATM Treasure Island I LLC, which acquired the property in 2022. The listing agent is Michael Wyckoff with Engel & Völkers Madeira Beach.

Largo manufacturing facility sells

A two-building facility with a combined 35,080 heated square feet located at 7265 Ulmerton Road in Largo sold June 11 for $5.3 million. The property was once occupied by generic drugmaker VistaPharm, which after its sale to PAI Pharma in 2022 relocated or laid off its 177 full-time employees and closed its Largo location.

Building 1 is a one-story structure completed in 1971 with 21,516 square feet of manufacturing space, 4,800 square feet of office space, a 1,536 square-foot loading platform and a 180 square-foot open porch. Building 2 is also a one-story structure, built in 1972, with 8,764 heated square feet and two loading platforms totaling 1,300 square feet.

Highlights include a highly specialized infrastructure capable of producing a wide array of products, including food/beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and more. The manufacturing floor offers individual production rooms and areas for processing raw materials. The 3.38-acre property allows for 50 parking spots and outdoor storage space.

VistaPharm Inc. had purchased the property in 2001 for $1 million and then sold it to the seller, Store Master Funding VIII LLC, in 2019 for $4.43 million. The buyer is Pharmetric Laboratory Realty LLC, formed in Feb. 2024 and based in St. Petersburg. The seller was represented by Marko Radosavljevic with Commercial Partners Realty.

 1930 Mediterranean Old Northeast home sells

A 94-year-old Mediterranean home previously owned by only three families sold June 12 for $1.74 million – more than $450,000 below the list price of $2.2 million. Located at 615 16th Avenue NE in the Old Northeast neighborhood of St. Petersburg, this two-story, 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath property offers 3,524 square feet of heated living space.

Inside the double French entryway doors on the ground level is a foyer followed by an expansive living room with a gas fireplace. Also on this floor is a kitchen with 42-inch wood cabinets and stainless-steel appliances, a breakfast nook with original cabinetry, an oversized formal dining room with a built-in cabinet buffet and walls of windows outfitted with plantation shutters, an indoor laundry room with a pantry closet and a half-bath.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, including the large primary suite that opens to a rooftop terrace. The ensuite bath was updated in 2018 and features a walk-in shower, jet tub, double vanity, quartz tops and shaker-painted cabinets. Two guest bedrooms share a jack-and-jill bath. Outdoors is a separate 400 square-foot guest suite off the updated pool area that features a full bath and kitchenette. Highlights include original oak and pine hardwood floors and glass door knobs. 

The home was previously purchased in 2002 for $600,000. The listing was provided by Kelly Hayden with Re/Max Metro and the buyer was represented by Linda Lee Gates with Smith & Associates Real Estate.

Pineywoods Centre complex sells

Pineywoods Centre, a two-building office complex situated on 3.08 acres at 5959 and 5999 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, sold June 7 for $8.3 million. The original listing price was $9.5 million.

5959 Central Ave. is a two-story, 32,318 heated square-foot structure built in 1977. 5999 Central Ave. is a four-story structure, built in 1979, with 32,792 heated square feet. The property is currently 98% occupied and includes a mix of medical and professional tenants, including John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, the Ramos Center and the Phoenix Health Connection. On the ground level of 5999 Central Ave. is the Side Door Deli, a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch six days a week. 

In the past two years, renovations and upgrades valued at over $1.5 million have been made, including a new hydraulic elevator, a new parking lot, and ADA compliant 1st floor bathrooms in both buildings.

The seller, Pineywoods Florida VI LLC, a foreign limited liability company with offices based in Tampa, was represented by Patrick Kelly, Chad Rupp, Anthony Suarez and Dakota Brown with Franklin Street Commercial Real Estate. The Buyer is Central Place LLC which registered as a limited liability company with the State of Florida on May 13, 2024.

Harbor View Creative Learning Center property lists for sale

A 6,254 square-foot free standing one-story building located at 3245 Executive Dr., Clearwater has listed for $3.85 million. It is situated on a 0.61-acre parcel of land within a dense residential and professional community and across the street from Raymond James’ global headquarters. Harbor View Creative Learning Center, a childcare and early education provider, occupies the building.

The property was constructed in 1988 to serve as a childcare facility and then extensively renovated in 2022 when Once Upon a Childcare signed an 11-year lease and took over the space.

The absolute NNN lease, with no landlord responsibilities, includes a three-percent annual increase and two five-year options to renew.

The seller, 209 6 Street LLC, purchased the property in 2023 for $3.45 million. The listing agents are Alejandro Snyder and Michael Williams with Current Real Estate Advisors.
