Places This Week: Amazon warehouse for lease, estates sell
A weekly roundup of local real estate deals.
Amazon warehouse status
The Pinellas Park site of the e-commerce giant Amazon’s terminus for last-mile consumer deliveries is completely built out, yet the large parking lot is empty and the hundreds of prospective employees are nowhere in sight.
According to a source familiar with the sublease, Amazon doesn’t need the site for roughly three years. Therefore, the company is seeking a short-term tenant to occupy the space at 6101 45th St. in the interim.
The 114,334-square-foot building was constructed on a 20.65-acre site in 2022 by general contractor Brasfield and Gorrie.
Earlier this year, the SFG LM Pinellas Park LLC entity sold the property to SFG STPK LM Pinellas Park LLC for over $63.4 million.
Both entities are tied to Atlanta-based Stonemont Financial.
The site has 11 loading docks, 538 van parking spaces and 192 regular parking spaces.
Commercial real estate firm JLL is listing the property for sublease, according to a Loopnet listing.
Renovated Belleaire estate sells
A Belleaire home that was restored and renovated down “to the studs” has sold in a $2.8 million deal.
The 4,686-square-foot estate at 1579 Alexander Road was constructed in 1993. The renovation process was done in collaboration with the Largo-based WKM Restoration Group.
The kitchen has Bertazzoni Italian appliances and natural quartzite countertops. There is also a wine cellar and wet bar.
The five-bedroom home has white maple flooring throughout, a custom floating staircase, high-end modern finishes, a fireplace in the living room and a freestanding soaking tub with garden views in the main suite, according to the listing.
Outside, there’s an entertainment space and pool.
The home was previously listed for $2.995 million. It last sold in 2022 for $950,000.
Dunedin homes sells for over $5 million
A waterfront home in the Dunedin Isles neighborhood has sold in a $5.25 million deal.
The six-bedroom home at 1720 Santa Barbara Dr. was built in 2013 and has a total of 12,571 square feet of space under the roof, including 3,160 square feet of waterfront balconies.
There’s an attached 995-square-foot guest house.
The home features light oak floors and high ceilings. The owners recently added a temperature-controlled wine cellar, according to the listing.
The first level of the home also features a top-tier gym space, a boat dock, and a pool and spa overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Jessica Sanchez with Keller Williams Realty represented the sellers. Nancy Leslie with Re/Max Realtec Group Inc. represented the buyers.
The home was listed for $5.5 million. It last sold in 2015 for $2.79 million.
