Places This Week: Ex-Rays owner’s bayfront condo for sale

A waterfront penthouse, located at 4981 Bacopa Lane S., Unit #PH 801, St. Petersburg, has listed with a sales price of $2.19 million. Vincent Naimoli, the original owner of the Tampa Bay Rays, was the first occupant of the condominium which he purchased for $546,900 when the building was completed in 1997. He resided there until 2003.
The 4-bedroom, 3-bath residence has over 3,000 square-feet of living space along with panoramic views of Boca Ciega Bay from every room and balcony. Included is 600 square-foot entry landing which leads to the grand foyer. Historic Tarpon Springs mansion lists
A three-story, 11,732 gross square-foot estate located at 110 N. Spring Blvd. in Tarpon Springs has listed for $4 million. The 11-bedroom, 6.5-bath home was built in 1900 by Middletown, New York resident and philanthropist George N. Clemson, whose company Clemson Bros., Inc. invented the hacksaw and was one of the largest manufacturers in the world.
The first floor features an oversized dining room, kitchen, music room, library, two bathrooms, two fireplaces and a great hall. On the second level are seven bedrooms, four bathrooms, two fireplaces and a living room. The master suite on this floor opens up to a private balcony overlooking Spring Bayou. 99-key Clearwater hotel for sale
The Clearwater Beach Hotel, consisting of two parcels located at 504 and 455 S. Gulfview Blvd., has listed with an asking price of $28 million. The properties are located across the street from one another and offer a total of nine suites and 90 efficiency rooms, as well as two heated pools.
504 S. Gulfview Blvd. includes one five-story structure that was built in 1974. It sits on a .88-acre plot and houses 65 units within 23,695 heated square-feet.
455 S. Gulfview Blvd. consists of two structures on a .77-acre plot of land. One is a one-story building with 692 heated square-feet and the second is a two-story building with 15,296 heated square-feet. Both were built in 1965 and offer 34 units, as well as a retail space currently leased as an ice cream shop.
The hotel is a combination of two prior hospitality properties obtained by the current owner and seller, Clearwater Beach Hotel LLC. It purchased a former Days Inn, located at 504 S. Gulfview Blvd, from PB&JB Management Co., LLC in 2011 for $3.35 million. The Hi Seas Motel, at 455 S. Gulfview Blvd., was purchased from Divaco Inc. for $2.5 million in 2012.

A Snell Isle 5-bedroom, 9-bath estate located at 2020 Brightwaters Blvd. NE, St. Petersburg, has listed with an asking price of $10.9 million. The 9,722 square-foot, two-story property built in 1995 is owned by actress and entrepreneur Rhonda Shear and her husband Van Fagan, owner of Shear Enterprises LLC. Shear is known for her role as the host of USA’s Up All Night, and for inventing the globally bestselling AHH-Bra. The Fagan Shear Family Trust purchased the property in 2011 for $3.2 million.

A 100-year-old craftsman style bungalow located at 806 18th Ave. NE in St. Petersburg sold March 28 for $1.33 million. Named the “Sargent House,” the property was designated an Historic Landmark by the City of St. Petersburg in 2016. It last sold in 2015 for $630,000.
The 2,190 square-foot, two-story home sits on a 6,652 square-foot lot and includes four bedrooms and two baths. Inside are quarter-sawn heart pine floors; a kitchen, laundry and mudroom with soft cork floors; a living and dining room with built-in glass bookshelves and beveled glass doors; and 40 original wood windows.
The exterior features original shingle siding, clinker brick and random white granite rubble. The 386 square-foot wraparound porch showcases eight-inch Cuban tile and high ceilings with exposed beams and rafters. Also on the property is a 420 square-foot detached carport.

Largo multi-unit apartment complex sells
The Oasis at Bayside East apartments, located at 13500 Rodgers Ave, Largo, sold March 14 for $17.5 million. The 80,252 square-foot property encompasses two buildings with 104 one and two-bedroom units ranging from 700 to 1,000 square-feet.
The two-story structures were built in 1984, and a 1,244 square-foot clubhouse was completed in 1985. Many of the residences have been recently renovated and feature all-electric kitchens, hardwood floors, spacious walk-in closets and a balcony or patio.
Amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, swimming pool, picnic area and bark park.
The seller, Latitude Forest Creek LLC, a foreign limited liability company, purchased the property in 2021 for $11.75 million. The buyer is FCP Tampa 01 LP, a foreign limited partnership with an address in Naples, Florida.
