Places This Week: Gulfport waterfront bed & breakfast for sale

The Sea Breeze Manor Inn, a seven-key, waterfront bed & breakfast located at 5701 Shore Blvd. S., Gulfport, has entered the market with an asking price of $2.8 million. The 3,767 square-foot, two-story Tudor-style structure was built in 1923 and renovated between 2017 and 2024.

 On the first level of the main house is the home’s original living room, with a wood-burning fireplace, and two suites – one with a double private entrance, 1.5 bathrooms and views of Boca Ciega Bay; and the other with a double private entrance and private balcony overlooking the patio and tropical gardens. Up the grand staircase are three additional suites. The first features 14-foot vaulted ceilings with a private wrap-around balcony and panoramic views of the Bay. The second offers a private deck with views of the gardens, and the third is an intimate space with two large windows.

Additional accommodations on the 10,463 square-foot property include a guest cottage located in the front yard with views of the Bay and another garden cottage located in the back yard. The property also includes the Breeze Waterfront Restaurant, offering seating on an elevated covered porch overlooking the Bay or in the tropical courtyard.

Recent upgrades include new windows, roof, doors, AC units and a ventilation system in the commercial kitchen. The seller purchased the property in 2017 for $875,000.

 Mid-century Frank Lloyd Wright-style residence lists

A 3-bedroom, 3-bath mid-century home, designed by Florida’s Harvard Jolly Architecture and inspired by the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie style, has listed for $2.2 million. Located at 4701 Paradise Way S. in St. Petersburg, the 3,040 square-foot property is situated on a 0.37-acre corner lot with 75 feet of waterfront on Fernery Bay.

The two-story structure, built in 1962, has been completely updated and modernized, while preserving elements of the original design. The first level features new travertine shell stone flooring throughout the living and dining areas and a guest bedroom. The chef’s kitchen has been expanded and remodeled with cherry cabinets, granite countertops and commercial-style appliances. The hardwood staircase leads to the second level with a loft/office and another guest bedroom.  Snell Isle estate sells for $9.6 million

A single-family home, located on a small Snell Isle neighborhood island with only 30 other residences, sold April 30 for $9.6 million – $395,000 below the list price. The two-story, 5,105 square-foot property, located at 117 Bay Point Dr. NE, provides five bedrooms, four full baths and two half-baths. It sits on a 0.36-acre lot and was built by Tampa’s Windstar Homes in 2013 following the demolition of a prior structure.

Improvements made between 2019 and 2023 include new oak floors throughout the lower-level living and dining areas and new bathrooms with stone finishes. The spacious 480 square-foot kitchen, crafted by Brightwood Works, features custom oak cabinetry, hand-stained to blend with the marble countertops and walls. The 360 square-foot primary bedroom is located on the second level.

Outdoors is a grill and kitchen, an in-ground, saltwater infinity pool, a new seawall, dock, two boat lifts and 132 feet of Tampa Bay waterfrontage. 

The seller purchased the property in 2021 for $6.0 million. The listing agent was Kristen Naruns with Northstar Realty. The buyer was represented by Jennifer Zales with Coldwell Banker Realty.

 Tierra Verde commercial properties list

Three separate parcels of land, centrally located in Tierra Verde and totaling 0.67 acres, have listed for sale with a combined asking price of $8.9 million.

1130 Pinellas Bayway S. is a two-story, mixed-use property built in 1968 and situated on a 0.24 acre of land. The first level has two retail spaces encompassing 3,472 heated square feet. Upstairs are two apartments with a total of 3,472 square-feet plus a 1,728 square-foot open porch. Upgrades valued at over $100K were made between 2007 and 2022. The property was last purchased in 1992 for $465,000.

1136 Pinellas Bayway S. is a one-story, 2,577 heated square-foot restaurant space situated on 0.24 acres of land. The structure was built in 1964 with a major renovation, valued at $130,000, completed in 2009. The owner purchased the property in 1995 for $375,000.

505 Sands Point Drive is a 0.19-acre vacant commercial parcel of land. It was last purchased in 1993 for $85,000.

Waterfront Coffee Pot Bayou home sells

A 4-bedroom, 4-bath waterfront home located in the Granada Terrace neighborhood of St. Petersburg sold May 2 for $3.48 million – $275,000 below the list price. Located at 2600 Coffee Pot Blvd. NE, the 3,903 square-foot property was built in 1936 and sits on a 0.37-acre parcel of land.

The main floor features a living room with high ceilings, wood beams and built-in cabinetry.  French doors lead to a dining room with a fireplace and a balcony with views of the Bayou. In the rear is a large family room and guest bedroom and bath. The primary suite, with a fireplace, walk-in closet and private sitting room with balcony, is located on the second level, along with two additional guest quarters.  

Outdoors is a two-car attached garage, an in-ground saltwater pool and an electric dock with lift. Major renovations valued at over $250K were made in 2004 and 2007. The property was last purchased in 2019 for $1.97 million.

Clearwater’s Champion Marine property sells

A 2,625 gross square-foot commercial property located at 2892 Gulf to Bay Blvd. in Clearwater sold April 24 for $700,000. The single-story concrete block structure was built in 1982 and is currently occupied by Champion Marine.

The 6,111 square-foot lot has 115 feet of frontage on Gulf to Bay Blvd. and includes 10 parking spots. The property can be used for a variety of commercial purposes, including RV, auto or boat sales.

Features include an updated office, a large amount of storage space and a 150 square-foot loading platform.

The Seller, Gulf to Bay Investment Group LLC, purchased the property in 2020 for $355,000. The buyer was CRME Holdings, LLC, a Foreign Limited Liability Company with offices in Irvine, California.
