Places This Week: HSN’s St. Pete campus hits the market

Property housing the headquarters of Home Shopping Network (HSN) at 2501 118th Avenue N., St. Petersburg, has been listed for sale for an unknown price. Qurate Retail Group (QVC), HSN’s parent company, announced in January that the complex would be closed sometime this year.

Notice was given in March that HSN would begin terminating jobs at the location beginning in May. 

The 64.8-acre site provides 487,021 heated square feet of industrial space across nine buildings that were completed between 1986 and 1994. The one- and two-story structures range in size from 1,826 to 168,609 square feet. An additional 2.60 acres of land with access to 28th St. can also be purchased.

The property is convenient to major retail and lifestyle destinations. It is fully zoned for industrial or multifamily development with the ability to configure the layout for single or multi-tenant occupancy. HSN Realty LLC purchased the property and began operations in 1987.

Relocated Gas Plant District home lists for sale

A single-family home that was relocated, along with 10 others, from St. Petersburg’s Historic Gas Plant District in the 1970s due to the construction of Interstate 175, has entered the market with an asking price of $2.249 million.

The 3,733 gross square-foot property, now located at 3321 Meander Ln., Safety Harbor, was built in 1954 and features three bedrooms and two baths across 2,095 heated square feet. The spacious split floor plan layout includes a living room, dining room, large sunroom, a kitchen with modern appliances, a master bedroom with a 144 square-foot bathroom on one side of the home, and two smaller guest bedrooms on the opposite side.

Outdoors is a detached 1,092 square-foot three-car garage built in 1999, a horse barn needing major renovation on the west corner and a 12 by 30-foot storage building on the east end of the property.

The 2.65 acres of land is filled with a variety of trees, including oaks, palms and pines; and a large pond with dock. The property is zoned for horses and agriculture and being sold “as is.”

$3 million waterfront Seminole home lists

Located in the Oakhurst Shores neighborhood of Seminole, a 7,999 gross square-foot waterfront property at 5630 Bayview Dr. has listed for sale with an asking price of $2.99 million. The two-story structure was built in 2009 and features 3,461 square feet of living space with two bedrooms, two full baths and one half-bath.

An open floorplan on the main level provides a living area with coffered ceilings, a custom wet bar, a home theater with soundproofing, a chef’s kitchen and an adjacent 392-bottle temperature-controlled wine room. The primary suite offers floor-to-ceiling windows with water views, a private den and a closet that connects to a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The ensuite bath is equipped with a glass shower and a freestanding tub, and the walls are decorated with Swarovski crystal-accented wallpaper. Additional highlights include a clay-tile roof, hurricane-impact windows and doors throughout, a central vacuum system and two tankless natural gas water heaters.

Women’s Care MLK St. property lists

A 4,411 square-foot property occupied by Women’s Care, a women’s health physician group with offices in four states and over 100 locations across Florida, has listed for sale for $3.15 million.

The medical care office has been acquired by a larger group and will be relocating to consolidate offices. While the existing lease does not expire until October 2026, occupancy can be delivered as early as May of this year through a sub-lease or other negotiations.

Built in 1990, the one-story structure at 1600 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street N., St. Petersburg sits on a 0.62-acre plot of land across the street from Crescent Lake neighborhood and park. It has a guest lobby with separate check-in and check-out access, a central administration station and exam rooms equipped with plumbing. Extensive capital improvements valued at $375,000 were made in 2018.

The site is less than one mile from St. Anthony’s Hospital and two miles from John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. Approximately 18,000 cars pass by each day and 120,000 residents live within a three-mile radius.

Jeff Garner, a real estate investor from Apopka, Florida, purchased the property under the corporate registered name Asong Inc. in 2023 for $2.911 million. The listing is provided by Robert Freeman and James Garner with CBRE – Tampa.

31st floor Signature Place condominium sells

A three-bedroom, three-bath condominium on the 31st floor of Signature Place, 175 1st Street S., St. Petersburg, sold April 7 for $2.3 million. The listing first appeared on the marketplace in January for $2.65 million.

Unit 3102 features floor-to-ceiling windows, a chef’s kitchen with Thermador and Miele appliances, a den, an entertainment space and four expansive balconies.  Garage parking for two is included in the sale.

Signature Place, a condominium complex built in 2009, offers 24-hour concierge service, a fitness center and a pool overlooking the water.

The seller had purchased the condominium in 2014 for $1.225 million. The listing was provided by Steven Reilly with Future Home Realty Inc. Alan Sherman with Northstar Realty represented the buyer.

Fuse Lenses purchases former Palm Harbor AAA property

The sale of a two-story general office building, formerly occupied by AAA Auto Club Group at 32050 US Highway 19 N., Palm Harbor, was recorded April 4 for a consideration of $2.85 million. The initial asking price was $3.299 million. The purchasers, under the registered name 32050 US HWY Palm Harbor LLC, were Brandon Mill and Jon Martino, co-founders and CEOs of Fuse Lenses, a Clearwater company that makes and sells custom-cut sunglass lenses.

The 15,248 heated square-foot concrete block property was built in 1985 and is zoned CP (Commercial Planned) – allowing for many professional use opportunities. A new roof was added in 2009 and the heating and air conditioning was updated in early 2025. It is situated on a 1.72-acre parcel of land with 91 parking spaces.

The seller, Auro Property Management of Spring Hill, purchased the property in 2023 for $3 million. The listing was provided by Matthew Shaw with Berkshire Hathway HomeServices FPG Commercial Division.
