Snell Isle estate sells for $8.8 million
Tampa-based homebuilder Devonshire Custom Homes has sold the estate at 1617 Brightwaters Blvd. NE, Snell Isle, in an $8.8 million deal.
The 6,046-square-foot home was built last year.
Past the metal fencing and iron front doors, the five-bedroom home features hardwood flooring, a kitchen with quartz countertops, a wine cellar, bonus rooms and an elevator, according to the listing.
The two-story waterfront estate also has a dock and boat lift.
The buyer assumed a $6.16 million mortgage from Bank of America for the purchase.
It was previously listed with an asking price of $9.595 million.

Marina Club Apartments hits construction milestone
General contractor Skanska announced it has reached a construction milestone for the 400-unit Marina Club Apartments in the Skyway Marina District.
The group placed the 1,000th piece of precast in under 40 days for the apartment building at 4311 34th St. South, according to Skanska’s LinkedIn post. Skanska will complete the building in 2024.
The $111 million Marina Club Apartments project will total 610,000 square feet with first-floor retail space and a two-story parking garage. It will offer one- and two-bedroom apartments. The amenities will include a sky lounge that will overlook Boca Ciega Bay, an expansive pool deck with a grilling area, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a dog park.
Jack Dougherty, owner of Allied Group Holdings, is developing the complex.
The Allied Group is also the team behind Marina Walk, a 245-unit waterfront apartment complex at the site of the former Flamingo Resort.
Martial arts school sells
Karate Karma LLC, the ownership entity of the Authentic Martial Arts school, sold its Seminole campus.
Ameian Properties Inc., an entity connected to Amy Christiansen and Jonathan Jones, purchased the 8,610-square-foot building at 7633 131st St. N. in a $2 million deal.
Ric Martin, an Okinawan Karate World Champion, is the owner of the Authentic Martial Arts school. He opened the first campus in Largo in 1980. The school expanded to a second campus in Seminole in 2006.
The building, constructed in 1998, is zoned for private schools and daycare center usage. The building previously housed a gymnastics school, according to a Coldwell Banker Homes listing.
New warehouse sells
A new industrial warehouse in Pinellas Park has traded hands in a $1.645 million deal.
Westchase-based Ranmar Development Inc., which built the Bentley Business Center in Pinellas Park, has sold an 8,140-square-foot industrial warehouse building in the center to the 8950 Pinellas LLC entity.
According to a Loopnet listing from Lamm Properties Inc., the warehouse at 8950 66th Court was constructed this year.
