A former Tarpon Springs First Baptist Church, built in 1926 and since transformed into a Mediterranean villa, has hit the market with a list price of $5.99 million.

Located at 160 Read St., the 7,041 square-feet of living space features two fully-furnished private homes that are connected by a door on each of the three levels. One unit has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths; the other has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Each bathroom has floor-to-ceiling tile, and kitchens in both units feature custom millwork and high-end appliances. The spacious master bedrooms each have their own private balcony.

The structure sits on a 12,789-square-foot oversized corner lot. On the first level is a 4,000+ square-foot garage, large enough to accommodate up to 12 vehicles with additional space suitable for a game room, workshop or gym. In the back is a heated lap pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, lounging areas and a covered patio.

Highlights include white oak flooring, electric fireplaces, Lutron lighting, an elevator, security, electric gates and a surround-sound system throughout the entire home and outdoor spaces. The original bell tower provides views of Spring Bayou and the downtown historic district.

St. Petersburg multi-unit industrial space for sale

A flexible warehouse property with eight standard industrial units, ranging from 3,000 to 6,000 square-feet, has listed with a price of $4 million. Located at 4049-4125 8th Ave. S. in St. Petersburg, the two buildings were constructed in 1978 and 1981 and span a total of 27,000 rentable square feet.

The warehouse is 45 percent occupied and is priced well below replacement cost. It is situated on 1.07 acres, approximately five miles west of downtown St. Petersburg.

The property was last purchased in 2021 for $1.6 million by 4049-4125 8th Ave. LLC with a principal address in Fort Lauderdale.

Two-year-old Palmetto Park home sells

A bungalow-style home, located at 2338 4th Ave. S. in St. Petersburg’s Palmetto Park neighborhood, sold March 8 for $1.05 million – $50,000 below list price. The 2,398 total square foot property, situated between the Grand Central and Warehouse Arts Districts, was built in 2022.

Sitting on a brick-paved street, the 5,588 square-foot parcel includes two structures: a one-story house in front with 1,957 square-feet of living space; and a 441 square-foot carriage house atop a 441 square-foot two-car garage.

The main home’s large covered front porch with high-end travertine tile leads into a 10-foot-high entryway with custom wood trim. Down the hall from the dining room is an open family room and kitchen with 14-foot ceilings, shaker cabinets, a breakfast bar and top-of-the-line Wolf appliances. Two guest bedrooms and a bath are located in the front of the house. In the rear is the master suite with his and her closets and a bath with a glass-enclosed standup shower.

The carriage house above the garage features one bedroom and one bath, a full kitchen and separate water and HVAC systems. Outdoors is a fully fenced-in backyard with artificial turf, a covered patio and a heated pool and hot tub.

10-Key Clearwater motel lists

A 10-unit motel located at 602 Poinsettia Ave. in Clearwater has listed for $6.9 million. The 9,552 square-foot property encompasses four buildings constructed between 1948 and 1950, and is currently being used as an Airbnb.

Building 1 is a one-story, 1,200-square-foot structure with four living units and a 488 square-foot open porch. Building 2 is a one-story, 640-square foot structure with two living units and a 140-square-foot open porch. Building 3 is a one-story, 731-square foot structure with two living units and a 192 square foot open porch. Building 4 is a two-story structure with two living units. The lower level is 1,036 square feet, the upper story is 644 square feet and a utility area encompasses 230 square feet. Outdoors is a lounging area and pool.

The .36-acre parcel of land is located a short distance from Clearwater Beach access and is prime for redevelopment, including the opportunity to build 17 condo/motel units or 10 residential condos.

The property was last purchased in 2018 for 1.4 million and improvements valued at over $200,000 have been made since then.

Two Shoppes of Boot Ranch lots sell

Two parcels of land within the 229,118 square-foot Shoppes of Boot Ranch in Palm Harbor sold Feb. 21 for a combined price of $22.5 million. Lots 2 and 3 are located at 300 E. Lake Rd. and 700 E. Lake Rd., respectively. The Seller, Site Centers Corp., an Ohio corporation and successor-in-interest to Developers Diversified Realty Corp, purchased the two parcels in 1995 for $5.16 million.

300 E. Lake Rd is a 13-unit, 20,956 heated square-foot one story building with tenants including Five Guys restaurant, Hand & Stone, The UPS Store and H&R Block. Built in 1990, the structure sits on a 2.04-acre lot.

700 E. Lake Rd, also built in 1990, sits on 3.76 acres of land. It is a one-story structure encompassing 34,860 heated square-feet. Tenants include CVS, Jensen Jewelers, Great Clips, Mattress Warehouse, Crumbl Cookies and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt.

The purchaser is CL Shoppes of Boot Ranch FL LLC, a subsidiary of Site Centers Corp., which registered as a Florida foreign limited liability company with the State’s Division of Corporations on March 5, 2024.

Clearwater waterfront home lists for $2.8 million

A 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home located at 319 Midway Island has listed for $2.5 million. This newly-remodeled 2,790 square-foot property situated in the Island Estates of Clearwater sits on a 9,723 parcel of land.

The first level open floor plan includes a renovated kitchen with new cabinetry, quartz countertops, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar.
