This week's guest is Gilbert King, who won the Pulitzer Prize for his book, "Devil in the Grove: Thurgood Marshall, the Groveland Boys, and the Dawn of a New America," which featured a depiction of one of the most evil sheriffs in Ameircan history, Willis McCall. My father James Huffman is in the book Justice Gone Wrong, my father was murdered by a hit that was put on on him by this pos racist bastard! Because my father testified against him in court for beating Vickers a black man in the jail and for the beatings he seen of other black men

I am reading both of his books now. Both are page turners. As a resident of Mascotte, FL there are things that are most clear to me now. As an African American Muslim woman in America, I now fully understand the dynamics that occur here. Gilbert King's books are chilling but most needed.
