St. Petersburg College (SPC) is pleased to announce Dr. Mark McKinney as the new Dean of the College of Computer and Information Technology (CCIT). McKinney brings a wealth of experience in higher education leadership, academic innovation, and strategic planning. Known for his commitment to student success and industry partnerships, he most recently served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs & Retention Services at Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC). He led efforts that improved graduation rates and promoted academic excellence. His previous role as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management at PHSC focused on enhancing student engagement and persistence.
