With 15 years of experience in client relations, business and strategic development and public relations in the healthcare, medical development and construction and finance industries, Bellman will be a strong asset in the ongoing and expanding relationships with health systems and academic medical clients in the state. She comes to HDR from DeAngelis Diamond where she was the Director of Strategic Development for the construction management firm. “To represent a firm that commits itself to such high standards of quality and practice is a true gift,” Bellman said. “The diversity and advanced nature of my new colleagues at HDR is incredible, and I am thrilled to focus on healthcare, where my knowledge base serves the strongest value and where I can contribute to our mission to provide future-facing, world-class healthcare facilities.” Bellman earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from American Public University System. She is a board member for the Public Facilities Financing Advisory Board of Sarasota County, Fla., the Hospital Sustainability Collaborative of the Florida Hospital Association (FHA), and the Florida Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. Bellman has spoken on the advancement of and challenges within healthcare and the built environment at conferences and events for the HealthCare Institute, the FHA, the Center for Advanced Design Research and Education and several more. “Jessica’s knowledge of the healthcare industry and ability to analyze patient and economic data to foresee trends is a unique skill for this position, and we’re glad to have her on board,” said Peter de la Mora, CPSM, Vice President and South Region business development director at HDR. “Her tenacity, enthusiasm and diligence will contribute greatly to our work in the South East.”
