Skyway Capital Market LLC, a Tampa -based boutique investment banking firm, is pleased to announce John Atkins has joined as Business Development Associate, supporting all industry sectors.
In this role, Atkins will focus on creating and executing strategy for highly targeted outreach to attract new business – targeting businesses that meet the criteria set forth by buyers and investors of the firm. This outreach is supplemented by the research of real-time market trends, transaction activity and financial conditions.
Before joining Skyway, Atkins served as Legislative Aid to the House Majority Office as well as the Senate Appropriations Chairman in the State of Florida Congress and Senate. Following his tenure in Tallahassee, he moved to Chicago to pursue Commercial Real Estate as a commercial real estate broker covering the Midwest.

Atkins appointment is a continuation of Skyway Capital Markets significant employee growth. Last year the company nearly doubled its size by hiring 15 people to support their deal-making goals.

Atkins graduated with degrees in Social Science as well as Entrepreneurship from Florida State University.
