Raymond James Private Client Group (PCG) President Scott Curtis today announced the naming of current Raymond James & Associates (RJA) PCG COO Kim Jenson as COO of the firm’s PCG. With this change, she will be responsible for a range of U.S. PCG business development, education, strategy and support functions across all affiliation options.
“Kim has made meaningful contributions to our RJA private client business since joining Raymond James two years ago,” said Curtis. “With her experience and proven leadership, she will lead key strategic initiatives to grow and support our wealth management business.”
RJA PCG President Tash Elwyn added, “Kim has contributed greatly to the success of RJA PCG and we look forward to seeing her advocacy for advisors and their clients now extended to the entire domestic Private Client Group.”
Prior to her current role, Jenson was a managing director in UBS Financial Services’ Chicago market, where she was responsible for business development, risk management and recruitment. She previously served as chief of staff for the CEO of UBS Wealth Management Americas, and began her career there as a divisional manager. Before joining UBS, she spent 15 years with Piper Jaffray as a regional director for the Midwest and West regions based in Minneapolis and Denver, where she also held leadership roles in trust, marketing, product management, training and recruiting.
“I’m excited to join Scott and the PCG leadership team supporting financial advisors across all of our divisions,” said Jenson. “I look forward to contributing to the firm’s broader growth objectives and continuing our mission to be home to the profession’s best advisors.”
Jenson earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Minnesota State University, is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and holds several securities, life insurance and health insurance licenses. She has been recognized as a Chicago Business Journal Woman of Influence, a YWCA New York Woman of Distinction, and is involved in numerous charitable and mentorship activities.
