IBERIABANK (www.iberiabank.com), the 132-year-old subsidiary of IBERIABANK Corporation, is pleased to announce that Martha “Marty” Lanahan has been named Executive Vice President and Tampa Bay Market President.
Lanahan joins IBERIABANK with an extensive background in the banking industry where she most recently served as Executive Vice President and President of the West Florida and North Florida markets for Regions. Prior to that role, she served in numerous commercial banking leadership roles at First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo) as Executive Vice President. She headed up Treasury Management Sales in Florida as the youngest and among the first female members of the state’s leadership team. Her banking career began as the first Commercial Leasing Officer for the bank in Florida, advanced to Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, and later to Business Banking Sales Manager prior to senior leadership appointment.

Lanahan is very involved in the community where she has served has an active board member and civic leader in advancing policy, governance, the arts and culture, underserved populations, healthcare, and public infrastructure. She serves as current Board Chair for the Jessie Ball duPont Fund and is a Board Member for Moffit Cancer Center’s Medical Group and the Tampa Museum of Arts. She is former Board Chair and Gubernatorial Appointee for the Florida Transportation Commission, former Board Chair and Mayoral Appointee for the Jacksonville Electric Authority, and former Board Member and Volunteer Committee Chair for the Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee.
She has received numerous awards for her community contributions including Humanitarian of the Year by One Jax; was inducted into the Business Hall of Fame by the Florida Council on Economic Education; Individual of the Year by the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville; and Eve Award Winner and Finalist in Jacksonville.
A long-time resident of Florida, Lanahan is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.
