Former Position

Vice president of business development

Transcom Solutions, a national transportation and translation company that serves the workers’ compensation industry, has promoted Sara Aguila to president. Aguila, who previously served as the company’s vice president of business development, now oversees operations and customer service as well as sales and marketing.
“I believe this will truly be a unique role where service can exceed expectations,” Aguila said. “Because of our passion for people, accountability, transparency, integrity in operations, and professionalism, we will continue to maintain our boutique feel as the company grows.”
Aguila has 17 years of sales and business development experience in the workers’ compensation and insurance industries. She exceeded regional and statewide sales goals in every organization for which she worked, including Complete Claims Services, CompEx, ZoneCare, Optimal Care, and Gould and Lamb.
Aguila cofounded Transcom Solutions in 2009 on the basic principle that customer service should not be an afterthought. She attributes the organization’s success to its customer-first business model.
“Transcom would not be where it is today without the relationships we have developed over the years,” she added. “We are grateful for each of them and excited about the promising future of our company.”
