Threshold 360 has announced that Vermont’s long-serving Deputy Commissioner of Tourism and Marketing, Steven Cook, will join their team as Director of Marketing. Cook will serve as a resource for domestic and international tourism destinations as they apply Threshold 360’s immersive experiences within their cities, towns, and communities. In 2006, Cook was appointed by Vermont Governor Jim Douglas as the Deputy Commissioner of Tourism & Marketing. Since then, he has been directly responsible for all aspects of advertising and communication plans for Vermont’s $2.7 billion-dollar tourism industry. Cook spent over a decade in this role where he was appointed by three gubernatorial administrations.
