With a nod to the most important American event of the upcoming month, artist and gallery owner Chad Mize asked the artists for his October/November exhibit to include the word “vote” in their work.

The exhibition, called Vote, opens online – with a walk-through tour by Mize himself – Friday at 6 p.m. (on Facebook) and 7 p.m. on Instagram.

The gallery, 689 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N.,  is open (masks required) 11-a.m-7 p.m. Saturdays, and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sundays, and by appointment. There is a six-person limit at one time.

Vote, which will be on view through Nov. 3 (Election Day), includes art from:

Katie Alexander, Todd Bates, Ashley Cantero, Saumitra Chandratreya, Ora Fraze,  Iboms, Jujimo, Cat Lim, Steve Madden, Daniel Morgan, Mega Supremo, Chad Mize, Mosher, Elena Øhlander, Lainey Rhodes, Cory Robinson, Nikita Rosalind and Jason Rowland.
