Academy Prep Honors Five Fabulous Females of 2025

St. Petersburg, FL — Academy Prep Center of St. Petersburg will honor and celebrate the contributions of remarkable women leaders from the Tampa Bay business, philanthropic, and education communities at its 17th annual Five Fabulous Females Luncheon on Thursday, May 8th at Island Grand at TradeWinds. Proceeds from this event support the Student Scholarship Program at Academy Prep, a privately-funded and nationally accredited middle school dedicated to inspiring and empowering students qualifying for need-based scholarships to become future community leaders through a rigorous academic program coupled with ongoing graduate support.

The 2025 Fabulous Female honorees are:

Lauren Brigman – Community Advocate, Co-founder of 100 Women Who Care St. Petersburg

Elise Minkoff – Chief Operations & Programs Officer, Pinellas County Housing Authority

Twanna Monroe – Principal & Owner, Infinite Potential Learning Academy

Lisa Vickers – CEO, Speer Dream Foundation

Karen Wanek – Owner & Co-founder of Superior Fresh, producer of organically grown Atlantic Salmon

“These incredible women are being recognized for their significant contributions to the Tampa Bay community,” said Gina Tanase Burkett, Head of School at Academy Prep of St. Petersburg. “Our honorees set the example with their leadership, character, and accomplishments. They are inspirational role models for the students of Academy Prep, and for all of us.”
