Daystar Life Center welcomes new board members

St. Petersburg, Fla. – Daystar Life Center has welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors. Approval of their nominations took place October 27th.

Christine E. Larsen, M.D., a neuroradiologist, worked at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg and was the head of the hospital’s Quality Control committee for the Department of Radiology. She was also a member of the St. Anthony’s Health Care Foundation board and Standards and Credentials Committee.

Dr. Larsen graduated cum laude from Emory University School of Medicine where she was a Woodruff Scholar.

Since retirement, Dr. Larsen has been involved with the StPeteLocallyGrown.Net, has been an officer for the Tierra Verde Women’s Club and has been a Daystar Life Center volunteer.

John G. Fox, M.D., is a partner and internal medicine physician with Pinellas County Primary Care and Hospitalist in Clearwater. Previously, Dr. Fox was an associate internal medicine physician with Baycare Medical Group Primary Care.

Dr. Fox received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and did his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical School.

He is a member at St. Mary Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in St. Petersburg where he became familiar with Daystar’s mission to provide the necessities of life to its neighbors in need. He looks forward to getting more involved.
