Do Good, Feel Good: St. Pete’s One-of-a-Kind Nonprofit Fair
Do Good Day returns for its second event, bringing together up to 35 local nonprofits for a career fair-style event where the community can explore volunteer opportunities, connect with organizations, and take action. The event will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill in downtown St. Petersburg’s the EDGE District, one of the country’s hottest, fastest-growing and most vibrant areas.
The idea for Do Good Day was sparked from a conversation about the abundance of nonprofits in the community and the challenge people face in finding ways to get involved. The event was created as a solution to bridge this gap, making it easier for individuals to discover and support local causes.
Do Good Day provides nonprofits with a platform to meet potential volunteers in an interactive, accessible format. Attendees can visit nonprofit booths, learn about their missions, donate, and sign up for volunteer opportunities on the spot. The event fosters connections between organizations and the community, offering clear opportunities for meaningful involvement.
Beyond the nonprofit showcase, the event will feature a silent auction, scavenger hunt, and door prizes. This year’s Do Good Day coincides with Mezzo Market, a popular local vendor market within walking distance on Baum Ave, that will bring additional foot traffic and visibility to participating nonprofits and sponsors.
Do Good Day is free, family and pet friendly, and open to the public. Nonprofits interested in participating are encouraged to reach out to the founders. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
