DōMA Home Furnishings Raises over $28,000 for Local Charities in Tampa Bay

ST PETERSBURG, FL, February 23, 2021 — DōMA Home Furnishings announces grand totals for its 10th Annual Give Some Get Some Charity Sales Event.

The annual holiday charity sales event allows DōMA customers and clients to donate to any of the 3 selected non-profits and in return receive up to 20% off their entire purchase. For the 2020 Give Some Get Some Charity Sales Event, DōMA selected to support Metro Inclusive Health – a local organization that provides quality health and wellness services for Tampa Bay’s diverse local community; Claybaker DUSTOFF Foundation – a military support organization dedicated to helping Veterans and their families in times of need; and Limbo Chihuahuas – Chihuahua Rescue – a pet rescue organization for Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes.

This year the Give Some Get Some Charity Sale campaign had phenomenal community support and raised significantly more than any year in the past with over $28,000 in donations.

A collection of checks totaling $10,700 was presented to James Keane, Development Division Director at Metro Inclusive Health. “On behalf of Metro, thank all of you for your support. This is an incredibly generous donation that will really make a positive impact in so many lives here in Tampa Bay. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Charles Claybaker founder of the Claybaker DUSTOFF Foundation was blown away when presented with checks from local DōMA clients and customers totaling over $12,500. “I want to hug you. Thank all of you so much for your support. I’m speechless!” said Charles.

Adam Galbraith and Liz Wood of Limbo Chihuahuas – Chihuahua Rescue were presented with a collection of donations totaling $5,500. “Thank you so much!” DōMA’s very own showroom dog, Blu is a Limbo Alumni.

DōMA founder and CEO David King had this to say about the event, “We are over the moon thrilled with the amount of money we’ve been able to collect. We have broken all records and raised over $28,000. This is beyond anything we dreamed we could do. Thank you to all of our clients and customers that have supported us so that we could do this!”
