Drink With Your Dog® Training Course Focuses on Dog Brewery Manners

Dogs and breweries are a perfect pairing, but ensuring well-mannered pups make the experience enjoyable for all is key. The Dog Moms of Tampa Bay (DMTB) is partnering with Total Dog Tampa and Drink With Your Dog® to bring this innovative dog training course focused on brewery manners for your pup to the Tampa Bay area.
Designed specifically for dog owners who enjoy visiting breweries and other pet-friendly venues, this unique training program addresses the challenges and etiquettes associated with bringing dogs into social drinking environments.

Our goal is to help dogs learn how to behave well in bustling environments, which ultimately enhances the brewery experience for everyone.”
The Brewery Manners course covers:
• Socialization Skills: Helping dogs feel comfortable and confident in a brewery setting.
• Basic Obedience: Reinforcing commands such as sit, stay, and come, crucial for a well-behaved brewery visitor.
• Table Manners: Preventing begging and teaching appropriate behavior around food and drink.
• Engagement: Ensuring dogs remain calm and content in a lively, often crowded environment.
• Troubleshooting: Addressing common issues such as barking, jumping, and interactions with other patrons.
This course is perfect for breweries looking to offer a pet-friendly atmosphere and for dog owners who want their canine companions to be exemplary brewery guests. The 4-week course will be held weekly at Pinellas Ale Works, starting Friday, October 25th from 6-7pm. Each session will be led by a certified trainer with extensive experience in both dog behavior and public etiquette.
