Elizabeth (Liz) Heinkel Elected President of the Rotary Club of St. Petersburg, FL

(July 16, 2020) The Rotary Club of St. Petersburg, FL elected Elizabeth (Liz) Heinkel as president, beginning July 1, for the 2020-21 year. She is a realtor with Coastal Properties Group International. (photo attached to this e-mail).

She joined the club in 2015. She has chaired numerous committees and has served as a member of the club’s board of directors.

As president, she joins a group of distinguished community, civic and business leaders who have led the organization since it was founded in 1920, beginning with William Straub. The club is currently celebrating 100 years of service to St. Petersburg.

Other club officers elected to serve for the new fiscal year (beginning July 1) include: Scott Russell, President-Elect; Bond Thomas, Secretary; Jill Van Middlesworth-Banks, Treasurer and Eric Walley, Sergeant-at-Arms.

The Rotary Club of St. Petersburg meets every Friday at 12:15 p.m. at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. (Note: During COVID-19, the club is meeting weekly on ZOOM)
