Enjoy the Summer with Joy Bar’s Christmas In July Events and Deals

Joy Bar, Tampa Bay’s only year round holiday themed bar is celebrating Christmas in July and hosting events throughout the month. Whether it is live music, comedy, karaoke, rare whiskey bottles or drink deals, Joy Bar is the place to be. Everyone who wears a Christmas sweater to Joy Bar in July will receive a free Fireball shot.

Enjoy the many festive holiday lights, rare whiskey bottles and happy hour deals. Christmas themed shots are $4. Joy Bar offers a Pabst Blue Ribbon Happy Hour from 5 pm to 8pm with beers for $1.50.

There is an extensive selection of whiskey bottles that are rare and allocated bottles that many people have not tasted or possibly even seen. They are priced extremely well; selections include Pappy Van Winkle and bottles from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. There is a new allocated whiskey bottle every Friday and Saturday night.

Comedy night will take place on Thursday, July 11, 18 and 25 and is hosted by local comedian Dan Baskt. Dan performs all over the country and brings a new and exciting lineup each week. His comedic style includes a guitar and hilarious songs.

Trey Lawson took over the bar six years ago from his father. They have been in business for 34 years. Joy Bar was previously known as VIP Lounge. Trey launched the Joy Bar theme concept in 2023.
