After months of planning, celebrity chef Robert Hesse, and his partner, chef Craig Munroe, announced they will be opening a second Fo’Cheezy Twisted Meltz location, with this one located in downtown St. Petersburg.

The downtown St. Petersburg location will be located at 111 3rd Street North, St. Petersburg and is scheduled to open in late June.

“Our goal is to turn it up and deliver truly chef inspired comfort food to downtown in an all-new way, an experience, not just a meal,” said Hesse, co-founder of Fo’Cheezy Twisted Meltz. “We’ve called this street-to-table, edible graffiti.”

According to co-founder Craig Munroe the new location is one of three they have plans to open in addition to getting a second food truck operational by the end of 2022.

“We are building the momentum, creating jobs and have something truly special here. We’re excited and ready for the growth as we start to open Fo’Cheezy locations in other markets,” said Munroe, co-founder of Fo’Cheezy. “The impacts that our locations bring, go far beyond the table and into the community with our charitable work, No Kid 86’ed.”

As locations open, the team plans to bring in local talent for the interior and exterior murals, paying homage to the hip hop era and geographical client base. For the newest location, Matt Kress has been commissioned to paint the interior murals in the new location.

“Matt is a class act. It’s pretty amazing to see his work throughout town on historical buildings and know he’s getting started at Fo’Cheezy in downtown soon,” said Munroe, co-founder of Fo’Cheezy.

The original Fo’Cheezy Twisted Meltz location will continue operating and is located at 6305 Gulf Blvd. St. Pete Beach FL, 33706.

Fo’Cheezy is open 7-days-a-week, Thursday-Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., Friday-Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 3 a.m.
