HEP Wlecomes 2024 Pinellas County Teacher of the Year as “Celebrity Chef”

To celebrate the beginning of the school year, we invited 2024 Pinellas County Teacher of the Year Gerard Madrinan to serve as our Celebrity Chef today at the Homeless Empowerment kitchen. Gerry is a music teacher and band director at Seminole High School and while he was helping us serve lunch, a group of his students entertained our residents and they loved it!
Gerry joined the likes of Wade Boggs, Ronde Barber, Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector, MLB Network Lauren Shehadi, ABC weatherman Denis Philips and FOX TV’s Charlie Belcher among many others to serve in the HEP kitchen in 2024.
