Join us on October 30, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. –10:00 a.m. for a vital town hall discussion about the size, scope, and impact of evictions in Pinellas County. Pinellas County, Florida – As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Pinellas County is already experiencing the impact of the moratorium’s expiration on evictions. While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was authorized to issue protections for certain renters in the country impacted by the coronavirus through the end of the year, the order is more limited than Florida’s.

Records indicate that an influx of cases will hit our legal system over the coming months. The majority of individuals and families impacted do not have the resources to respond and recover appropriately. Many landlords and owners are working diligently to connect tenants to resources. However, the financial impact for both owners and tenants is devastating.

Join 211 Tampa Bay Cares CEO, Micki Thompson, for town hall discussion with panelists:
·   Duggan Cooley, CEO at the Pinellas Community Foundation
· Tiffany Coleman, Esq., Staff Attorney at Bay Area Legal Services
· Eric Garduno, Government Affairs Director at Bay Area Apartment Association

The panel discussion will cover the local crisis’s size and scope and outline the supply and gaps in resources available to help tenants, landlords, area businesses, and nonprofits navigate this challenge. Please join us and register here at https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_vCFIA1LcQDSpqPjyl09FLw?_x_zm_rtaid=0cEsdE9aTI6YXKAnz1PBlQ.1602774155639.08e99370e2bec52baa526d89feb32961&_x_zm_rhtaid=656
