It’s Christmas in July at Joy Bar

Looking for a holiday vibe this Summer? Joy Bar, Tampa Bay’s only year-round holiday-themed bar is celebrating Christmas in July. Put on your holiday sweater and indulge your holiday spirit with free samplings and swag throughout the month. The naughty elf will be pouring shots and spreading Christmas cheer every weekend. Plus, on Saturday, July 25 you won’t want to miss the big Christmas in July Official Party.

It’s happy hour all the time at Joy Bar with $6 signature shots and cocktails, all day, every day. Everyone who wears a Christmas sweater in July will receive a free Fireball shot.

· Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4: Patron takeover, free samplings and swag
· Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11: Chica Chida Peanut Butter Tequila, free samplings and swag
· Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18: Tito’s Handmade Vodka, free samplings, swag and a DJ
· Saturday, July 25: Christmas in July Official Party from 7 pm to 3 am.

Enjoy the many festive holiday lights, rare whiskey bottles and massive selection of spirits at Joy Bar. There is an extensive selection of whiskey bottles that are rare and allocated bottles that many people have not tasted or possibly even seen.

Trey Lawson took over the bar eight years ago from his father. They have been in business for 36 years. Trey launched the Joy Bar theme concept in 2023. “Christmas in July is the perfect opportunity to showcase our venue. Come in and celebrate this summer tradition with a drink and enjoy our display of holiday lights and massive selection of spirits,” said Trey Lawson, owner of Joy Bar and the six Liquor Depot Tampa locations.

Joy Bar is located at 6905 N Armenia Avenue in Tampa. The year-round Christmas themed dive bar is open seven days a week from 5pm to 3am. Joy Bar has been named Tampa Bay’s Best Dive Bar two years in a row.
