Local Author Receives National Recognition

Lake Buena Vista, FL (8/5/2023)—The 2023 Annual Florida Authors and Publishers Association President’s Book Awards recognized The Turtle Thieves by Brenda M. Spalding, as a Silver medal winner.
Altamonte Springs, FL (10/21/2023)- The 2023 Annual Florida Writers Association presented a Royal Palm Award to The Turtle Thieves to the author.
Brenda Spalding was thrilled with the success of this series and book three, The Snake Traders will be released by Christmas. This series is inspired by actual events in the Sarasota area and adding her own fictional spin on them to the delight of her readers.
