Local Small Business Throws Party for A Cause to Help Pinellas County Families

St. Petersburg, FL — Exquisite Events Marketing is hosting a party for a cause to benefit the Florida Dream Center on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 6pm-10pm at the Banquet Masters in Clearwater, FL. The Moonlight Masquerade Ball is not your average masquerade ball. Not only will you enjoy delicious food, a DJ, dancing, an open bar, and networking with some of the most sought-after professionals, but your $150 donation will families in Pinellas County families. The Moonlight Masquerade Ball was established in 2018 as a fun way to benefit the Florida Dream Center.

The Florida Dream Center is a 501c3 tax exempt, faith based nonprofit organization that takes resources and aid into at-risk communities. Florida Dream Center inspires self-sufficiency by sharing faith through resources and restoring hope in communities. It’s boots on the ground concept materialized as organizational leaders realized various pockets of service deserts existed in Pinellas County. FLDC programs foster stability and promote self-sufficiency throughout Pinellas County, particularly the Lealman & Tarpon Springs neighborhoods.

In 2021, the Florida Dream Center provided 1,203,733 meals, distributed 1,444,479 pounds of food, completed 99 revitalization projects, removed 60 tons of debris, assisted 5365 families toward self-sufficiency, and graduated 83 work readiness alumni. The proceeds from the Moonlight Masquerade Ball will allow the Florida Dream Center to continue to advance towards its vision of an empowered community where neighbors help neighbors.

Attendees of the Moonlight Masquerade Ball can expect a night of fun, fashion, and fundraising. The 2023 theme is “A Night at The Met Gala”. There will be both silent and live auctions, a 360 booth, a cocktail hour, and ABC Action News’ Wendy Ryan will be the Mistress of Ceremony. Guests are highly encouraged to dress like they are attending the Met Gala in New York City with a masquerade twist. The Moonlight Masquerade Ball will be the event of the year.
