NEW POLL: Eric Lynn Vaults to Lead in Name Identification in FL-13 Democratic Primary

St. Petersburg, FL – A recent poll of likely 2022 Democratic primary voters in FL-13 shows that recent spending on behalf of former Obama Administration advisor Eric Lynn has moved the needle and he now has a solid name identification advantage (35%) over the other two candidates, Ben Diamond (28%) and Michele Rayner (29%). Lynn is not only better-known, but is also more popular than his opponents – making him well-positioned heading into this unsettled election.

“This race is absolutely critical to protecting our Democratic majority in 2022,” said Eric Lynn. “This poll shows that our message is connecting with Democrats across the district, and that we are in the best position to motivate Democrats, get them out to vote, and keep this seat blue in 2022.”

The survey not only shows Lynn leads in name ID, but that he has a double-digit advantage with seniors, coming in at +34 compared to +24 for Diamond and +18 for Rayner. Seniors are likely to make up 42% of the primary vote.

“Eric Lynn is the best candidate to protect this seat, and this poll shows that,” said Andrew Bernucca, Campaign Manager. “Our message is resonating and translating to a broad coalition of support that will carry us to victory in the primary and general elections. That’s exactly what is needed to win in 2022.”
