Psychiatrist To Discuss Mental Health Challenges Faced by Transgender Youth
On Wednesday, November 15, 6 to 8 PM, Jenny Gould, MD will explore the topic “Mental Health Challenges Faced by Transgender Youth” as part of First Presbyterian Church’s Beach Drive Forums. She will provide an overview of the growing restrictions related to providing gender-affirming care to transgender youth.
Dr. Gould, Board Certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, has worked in private practice, community mental health centers, academic psychiatry, and as Medical Director of a non-profit mental health agency in Atlanta. She served as adjunct faculty at Emory University in Atlanta for many years. and is currently in solo private practice locally focusing on children, adolescents, and young adults.
