Red House Streaming and Jersey Shore Entertainment Expand Alliance with Psychological Thriller “The Last Confession” Set for Production in Rio de Janeiro and St. Petersburg

Red House Streaming, a CP Communications company, is expanding its production alliance with Jersey Shore Entertainment for the upcoming psychological thriller The Last Confession, set for principal photography in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and St. Petersburg, Florida.

The film centers on an award-winning New York investigative journalist who travels to Rio de Janeiro after losing her husband and daughter in a tragic car accident and becomes entangled in a series of murders connected to private confessions made to Catholic priests shortly before each victim’s death. Blending international intrigue, moral complexity, and psychological suspense, The Last Confession is positioned as a character-driven thriller with the scope and tension of a global crime drama.

The production builds on the ongoing creative momentum between Jersey Shore Entertainment and Red House Streaming, whose strategic alliance has expanded rapidly across multiple project; including Blue Hotel, currently being positioned as both a feature film and backdoor television pilot in a first-look output deal with Breaking Glass Pictures who presented the project for presales at Cannes this year.

Production & Locations

Key exterior sequences will be filmed on location in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with additional production based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Red House Streaming’s studio facilities will support interior production, with crew also deployed for exterior beach sequences.

Cast & Crew

The Last Confession is directed by Anna Simone Scott, Emmy-nominated for Take My Heart and whose directorial debut The Aerial Girl earned six awards, four nominations, and screened at forty film festivals before airing on PBS. Ramsey K. Heitmann serves as assistant director. A producer and actor with credits including The Last Confession, Maverick (2023), The Bayou, and Hidden Valley, Heitmann brings on-set production experience across both film and television.
