Rep. Rayner Cohost with The Well Domestic Violence Awareness Event
(St. Petersburg, FL)- In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, The Well and Representative Michelle Rayner will host the First Annual Blackest Table Fundraising Dinner at Savant on Second, 634 2nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL, on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 7:00-10:00 p.m.
One in three women and one in six men will experience some form of domestic violence in their lifetime, additionally members of LGBTQIA community are disproportionately affected. Domestic violence does not discriminate and has no respect of race, religion, gender, or economic status.
This event was designed to illuminate hope within black and brown communities but also celebrate survivors as we strive to break the silence on domestic violence. As a nonprofit organization, The Well has worked to support to survivors of domestic violence by providing safe health spaces and various mental health services in the St. Petersburg Community for over five years.
Attendees will enjoy dinner, signature cocktails as well as live entertainment. Our Goal is to be BOLD. BRILLIANT and BEAUTIFUL. The cost of attendance for individuals is $60 and can be purchased at www.thewellfl.org/events. All proceeds from this event will go directly to supporting The Well for Life and its continued efforts to provide services to domestic violence survivors.
