Seedfunders Announces Successful Exit of Intelligent Observation Inc. in $14 Million Acquisition by HID Global

August 12, 2025 – Seedfunders, the only funding entity in Florida that targets startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) but little or no revenue, announced today that portfolio company Intelligent Observation Inc. (IO) has been acquired in its entirety by HID Global Corporation for $14 million in cash.

Founded by entrepreneur Seth Freedman, Intelligent Observation operates in the healthcare sector, developing equipment and software that enable healthcare facilities to monitor and manage hygiene compliance. The company’s solutions improve patient safety and regulatory adherence in hospitals and other clinical environments.

Seedfunders first invested in Intelligent Observation in 2019, followed by a second investment in 2020. The firm’s focus on scalable technology allows it to identify unique concepts ready to enter the marketplace and implement sales and marketing plans to scale revenue. Once proof of concept is attained and revenue begins to rise, Seedfunders assists its portfolio companies in securing follow-on funding from larger investors to enter the growth stage.
