SHINE Retreat Inspires Women to Prioritize Inner-Wellness While Moving Forward with Purpose Attracting Attendees from throughout Tampa Bay and Across the U.S.

The first annual Shine Retreat will bring over 15 speakers from throughout Tampa Bay and
across North America to Tampa on March 21, 2020. This thoughtfully curated day of yoga,
meditation, leadership, growth and connection will feature renowned thought leaders,
empowering panels and exciting break out sessions. This year’s keynote speaker, Alyson
Charles, has been described by the Huffington Post as ‘A Top Limit-Breaking Female Founder,’
and Oprah Magazine named her a “Top Meditation” leader. Also slated to speak are TEDx
speaker, Entrepreneur, and Business Coach, Amelia Travis and Internationally acclaimed
author, Penney Peirce. The event will also feature live music by female vocalists including
American Idol finalist, Shevonne Philidor. Four time Emmy Award winning television anchor and
reporter, Sarina Fazan will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

“Shine Retreat is about helping women prioritize inner wellness while moving forward with
purpose,” said Shine Retreat founder, Emily Ghosh. “This year’s retreat aims to connect women,
awaken inherent gifts and provide transformational tools to ignite change. We believe that when
women can shine as their most authentic selves, it gives other women permission to do the
same. The world needs us all shining bright and that’s exactly what we’re trying to do with Shine
Retreat is to create a ripple effect.”

Retreat sessions fall under five tracks: Cultivating Courage and Confidence, Entrepreneurship
and Marketing, Health and Wellness, Leadership, and Growth. Attendees are encouraged to
dress in attire that feels authentic and comfortable to them.
Ghosh says, “Our goal is to create a unique, inclusive and warm environment and bring together
programming that can help women to grow personally, professionally and spiritually.”

SHINE Retreat will be held at CAVU on 1601 N. Franklin St., Tampa, FL 33602. The Opening
Ceremony will be held in Downtown Tampa at Water Works Park located at 1710 N Highland
Ave, Tampa, FL 33602.
