Small Nonprofits in St. Petersburg can receive free administrative and operational support services from The Hypatia Collaborative
St. Petersburg, Florida, June 2024 – The Hypatia Collaborative is providing free capacity building services to local nonprofits as a part of the SSO pilot project. An SSO is an innovative organizational model that provides nonprofit organizational capacity services to small and grassroots nonprofits. Non-profit organizations that serve residents in St. Petersburg will be eligible to apply for these free capacity and support services, including grant writing, accounting, marketing, legal support, strategic planning, and program evaluation. Non-profit can apply today for free services on the Hypatia website.
“Nonprofits can apply today for free services, funded by ARPA dollars, to support their operational and administrative capacity needs,” said Dr. Linsey Grove. After a nonprofit submits their information through the short form online, they will be contacted by the Hypatia team to schedule a time to conduct a needs assessment. This is used to inform the client services plan and adds the client to the waitlist until they are approved to be a part of an 18-month cohort.
