Tampa Executive’s Leadership Book Earns Rankings on Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestseller Lists

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 5, 2022 – Tampa-based author, leadership coach, and speaker Kyle McDowell has had his new book, “Begin with WE: 10 Principles for Building and Sustaining a Culture of Excellence,” achieve bestseller status on the Wall Street Journal’s and USA Today’s book lists. The book, which is available for purchase worldwide at major bookselling outlets, such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble, has earned these distinctions just three weeks after its publication, on Sept. 13.

The Wall Street Journal criteria for assessing books as bestseller status are based on data by NPD BookScan, which tracks the number of total sales from retailers where books are sold. Within the first seven days of the book’s launch, “Begin With WE” surpassed 4,000 individual units sold, securing its Wall Street Journal bestseller status. USA Today has a similar list of criteria for achieving bestseller status, including books that reach 6,000 units sold in the U.S., books that reach more than 500 additional units sold at a retailer other than Amazon, and books that are priced $0.99 or higher.
