Times Publishing Company Chairman and CEO joins Cityverse board of advisors

Catalyst Media Group, publisher of the St. Pete Catalyst, announced a new advisory board member today for its Cityverse project. Conan Gallaty, Chairman and CEO of Times Publishing Company, will add years of journalism and technology experience to the board steering the forthcoming civic media platform.

Cityverse is a geographically-focused social network that seeks to bridge the virtual and physical world to build stronger communities. Cityverse leverages a suite of tools and incentives to generate valuable local content that inspires activities in the real world. Gallaty was selected to help expand the local news business model through Cityverse.
