University Area CDC Offers Free Art Classes for Adults

Adults of all artistic abilities are invited to participate in free art lessons, to be taught in English and Spanish, Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon University Area Community Center, 14012 N. 22nd St., Tampa, FL 33613.

Participants will explore drawing, composition, color and styles, using various media and painting techniques.

These art classes are meant to be “a safe space where you can heal and communicate your feelings through art,” said class instructor Lorena Casteneda.
