If there’s an upside to this whole pandemic, it’s that we’ve had plenty to remind us of our humanity – and our interconnectedness. Today’s edition starts with another showing of appreciation to our local heroes working on the frontlines of the pandemic – doctors, health care workers, first responders and law enforcement officers. Thanks for keeping us safe out there.

We loved these highlights from St. Pete Police Department and Mayor Rick Kriseman.

It’s a holy week for our Christian, Jewish and Muslim neighbors. This week marks both Holy Week in Christianity and Passover in Judaism, and Ramadan begins April 23. Religious or not, we think this message from Pope Francis has a lesson for all of us.
